From 2017, the Scottish Jazz Archive has filmed a series of interviews with grandees of the Scottish jazz scene. Where possible, these interviews were filmed in a studio setting or in the interviewee’s home environment. A number of interviews were conducted online for reasons of social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic or to minimise long-distance travel.
